Once upon a time, China was once tagged as the sleeping giant by the ecomonist and other opinion culumnist accross the world. At present this is no longer the case, China is now the second largest economy and is fast becoming worlds superpower in business, military capabilities and defense technology, having now great political influence among countries around the globe. China which is the most populated nation on this planet is now a powerfull force to reckon with. The question is,?! For Filipinos, what do we learn from this. We were educated in a different light from western influence as a former American colony and ally--how many times we were taught that communism is evil and so on and on. We I suppose should study deeper and act decisively to apply some good techniques and ideas not only from China but also from the pitfalls of American ways of governance to include other developed countries as well. It is really high time for our country to begin and develop industrializing our economy. We should move on industrialization process, the government and private sector should join together and launch a long-term plan of action towards a sustainable development that will benefit the majority of our masses in the future generations to come. MABUHAY ANG PILIPINO !!!
